Governing Body

The Governing Body provide support and challenge for leaders to ensure that the school is meeting its statutory duties. The governors have high aspirations for our students and staff. They meet regularly and work with the school to ensure that school improvement priorities are appropriate to enable further development. They are able to do this by working in close partnership with the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Governors have a key role in monitoring effectiveness and ensuring that accurate self-evaluation takes place at all levels. We encourage our governors to work in collaboration and partnership with other schools and businesses. The governing body are also responsible for monitoring the deployment of resources to achieve value for money.
